Grand Opening of Wangfujing Flagship Store & Charity Sale

(20 May 2008, Hong Kong) Anta Sports Products Limited ("Anta Sports” or the “Company”; stock code:2020) announced that the first flagship store in Northern China officially opened at Wangfujing Street in Beijing on 17 May 2008,. Its sales revenue of the day has been donated to earthquake afflicted area in Wenchuan, Sichuan province.

The flagship store at Wangfujing Street in Beijing is the first flagship store in Northern China and the sixth flagship store of ANTA Sports. The flagship store covers 340 sq.m., displaying diversified products with refreshing appearance. As at 31 March 2008, Anta Sports has opened 4,868 retail stores throughout China, which forms a nationwide distribution network.

Mr. Pan Zhichen, Head of the GASC Competition and Training Department, and Mr. Zhang Tao, General Manager of ANTA Sports Beijing Branch, attended the opening ceremony for the new store. Mr. Zhang said, "While providing customers with quality products and services and resonating everyone our sprit of "Keep Moving", the Company also wishes the earthquake stricken people in Sichuan could rebuild their home as soon as possible. We will stick it out!"

ANTA Sports has been committed to participating in social welfare activities in recent years. Learning of the news about Wenchuan earthquake, ANTA Sports donated money and supplies immediately on 14 May, being the first donator among other sportswear enterprises. ANTA Sports also motivated its distributors and partners to join the donation and share our love. As of 19 May, ANTA Sports has donated over RMB 14 million cash and products within 6 days. Moreover, all sales revenue of the above flagship store on 17 May has been donated to the earthquake afflicted areas in Sichuan. While the store's opening represents a further stride of ANTA Sports’ business, the donation of all sales revenue also implies that ANTA will keep sharing its care and love for the earthquake afflicted areas in Wenchuan, Sichuan province.
