RMB 10 Million Emergency Donations for Earthquake Stricken Area

 
(May 14, 2008-Hong Kong) ANTA Sports Products Limited ("ANTA Sports" or the "Company"; stock code: 2020) announced that donations of RMB 5 million in cash and RMB 5 million in sportswear would be provided to earthquake stricken area to help the victims.

A donation ceremony titled "love and care for afflicted area" was held in ANTA Sports headquarters soon after the quake in Wenchuan area of Sichuan Province. The Company will provide RMB 5 million in cash and RMB 5 million in sportswear to the quake stricken area, announced Ding Zhizhong, the chairman and CEO of ANTA Sports.

Employees of ANTA Sports actively responded to Mr. Ding's call with donated cash and supplies exceeding RMB 10 million. Such cash and supplies will be directly used for disaster relief purpose by Red Cross Society of China. ANTA Sports was the first sportswear enterprise to provide donations to Red Cross Society of China after the disaster.

As a leading sportswear brand in China, ANTA Sports has been dedicated to fulfill its social responsibility and contribute to the society in a continuous manner. In 2007, ANTA Sports has donated over RMB1.4 million to charity organizations. Upon getting aware of the disaster, Mr. Ding immediately make donation to earthquake stricken area: "Facing such a sudden disaster, we hope that our donation could provide the supplies to people and express our love to them, helping them overcome the predicament with confidence."
