The nation's first sports science lab

We believe science and technology will become increasingly important in the sportswear market. In April 2005, we established a sports science laboratory for the development of new technologies to achieve greater comfort, safety, functionality and performance in our footwear and apparel.
The laboratory places its primary emphasis on basketball, running and table tennis footwear. This laboratory has the capability to take measurements and force readings of an athlete's foot in motion and to make customized footwear for professional basketball players.
A-Form

Concept: It derives from "arciform", meaning arch structure. A-FORM is mainly applied on the sole as ANTA's latest research results. The unique arciform cushioning system as its core is comparable to the A-CORE technology. Compared with traditional cushioning system, A-FORM midsole is capable of providing buffering and supporting in a more stable and lasting way. For general jogger and professional runner, A-FORM not only brings powerful cushioning function to make running easier, but also protects the feet.
Inspiration: Physical characteristics of arch: stable and highly impact-resistant
Arciform in architecture: Zhaozhou Bridge of Sui Dynasty - the oldest existing stone arch bridge.
Built in 616 A.D., it has a history of over 1300 years.
Arciform in organism: Thenar of normal people is in arch shape.
A-FORM Racing Shoe Series: It adopts the design of arciform structure whose unique arciform cushioning system, special resilient materials along with TPU safety belt become powerful driving force of this series of racing shoes. A-Cool
In summer of 2006, ANTA grandly launched the "A-Cool" professional sports T-shirt, which was named "A-Cool Sports T-shirt". This sort of T-shirts all adopts Extra Dry fabrics along with Ciba Ultraphil technology. It utilizes special fibers and makes high technological treatment in its tissue design to endow the fabrics with optimum moisture-absorption and drying function so as to discharge redundant moisture and perspiration as soon as possible.
"ANTA A-Cool Sports T-shirt" adopts two-layer free-breathing perspiration-discharging fabrics whose exterior pore-structure materials facilitate air circulation to quickly evaporate perspiration transmitted by the interior so as to bring a cooler sports experience. Unique quick perspiration polyester adopted by the interior is capable of transmitting interior perspiration to the surface for evaporation so as to maintain comfort in sports.

A-CORE
Meaning of A-CORE
A-CORE means Magnetic Core. By first putting forward the concept of A-CORE in pace with international high technology trend, ANTA is unique in domestic development field for Sneakers. The main functions of A-CORE are cushioning (CORE) and rebounding (CORE+). Through constant innovation and upgrading of three generations, A-CORE has now become a mature technology exclusively owned by ANTA.
Why to "cushion"?
People's foot is composed of 26 bones and myriads foot extending-and-bending muscle groups. Foot movement is a complicated coordinating moving process of bones and muscles. Research results reveal that when people run, vast majority of them start from landing on outside heel and impact from the ground at the instant of landing may be three times the weight of human body. Therefore, heel and outside should be the key area to avert quakes in sporting process.
Magic of A-CORE
In an experiment of ANTA R&D Center, researchers let a common raw egg fall freely from two meter height to A-CORE materials. Rather than being broken, the egg even rebounded one meter. It is because the huge impact on landing will be fully absorbed and stored by materials of ANTA A-CORE technology and then as high as 50% of the energy will be transformed into impetus for the next start-up.
